A moment of pure contentment—a woman rests in her beautiful blue floral mu'umu'u, a book held close to her chest, while gently petting her companion dog. This piece captures the blessing of simple joys: rest, companionship, stories, and the soft embrace of a beloved garment.

This piece celebrates the revolutionary act of slowing down, of honoring your body's need for stillness in a world that demands constant productivity. The artwork is inspired by Islamic art, Hawaiʻi's muʻumuʻu community, and an artist's daily life, made to inspire women to rest.
