A quiet moment of rest and ritual—a woman in her mu'umu'u savors afternoon chai, wrapped in stillness and soft light, while gently petting her companion cat. This piece celebrates the sacred act of pausing, of finding peace in the everyday rhythms of rest and connection.

This piece celebrates the revolutionary act of slowing down, of honoring your body’s need for stillness in a world that demands constant productivity. The artwork is inspired by Islamic art, Hawaiʻi’s muʻumuʻu community, and an artist’s daily life, made to inspire women to rest.
